Writing Class: Write Your Novel

Novels by Juliet Kincaid

Novels by Juliet Kincaid

Have you always wanted to write a novel, but you don’t even know how to start? Or do you have a novel hidden in a drawer that you’d like to revisit? In either case, please join former writing professor, current self-published novelist and life-long novel-lover and Sisters in Crime member JULIET KINCAID this fall in her Novel Writing class.

Topics include what you need to know to start your novel, what you need to do to write it, and essential aspects of fiction like structure, point of view, and characterization. In a typical class we’ll talk about the topic and then we’ll practice it. So be sure to bring something to write with and something to write on. I hope you can join us because we’re going to have a ton of fun.

Novel Writing includes eight 90-minute classes and is being offered through the Johnson County Parks and Recreation 50+ Program at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty, OPKS 66204.
